  where are all the low score reviews?? i finally found this site where i could write a complaint after years of stewing about it. yes, it seemed like a nice company to work with until they showed up to do the job. the older man installing the windows complained it was too difficult to do the job at my house. then later on (2 yrs later) when one of the windows arm-mechanisms broke, semke came and looked at it and then was no more to be found. he never offered to fix it, complained it wasn't his responsibility to fix it, said it wasn't part of the warranty even tho he stated the windows were good for life when he was making his sales pitches; its still broke to this day. it sure would be nice if contractors actually upheld their contract promises.

  They replaced a sliding glass door that had been leaking after a botched roofing job. Not only did they replace the door and fix the gutter above it, they replaced and fixed the wood around it. They were so good at explaining everything, helping us understand the process. The craftsmanship is great and so far everything is holding up through the winter! Thanks for a great repair, replacement, and service!
